My housemate so kindly pointed out a white hair yesterday. She then, without hesitation, decided to pluck it from my scalp so I could see the glaringly obvious signs of my old age. Quite frankly I read it as an act of outrageous envy, as this was my first one (I don't count the random one I thought I found in first grade) while she has enough on her head to weave a small basket. Suffice it to say, to stare my old age so keenly in the eye was depressing.
